Study Tour-2023 organized by the Department of English

A Study Tour-2023 was organized by the Department of English dated from 25 January to 27 January where the venues were Sylhet (Jaflong) and Sreemangal. The journey started from Azompur, Uttara on 25 January at night. After a long and adventurous bus journey the tour team reached Jaflong at 8.30am on 26 January, one of the most charming places of Bangladesh. Having breakfast and enjoying the mesmerizing beauty of Jaflong the team again started its journey to Sreemangal. At about 5pm the team reached their Resort which was named Kamolganj Training Centre and Guest House (Heed Bangladesh Resort) for night stay. At night the team relished a ravishing Camp Fire and BBQ party followed by song and dance performances. Next day on 27 January the team began it’s sight-seeing through the Chader Gari (Jeep) which was really heart touching. After watching several places in Sreemangal the team again started its back home journey at about 5.30pm. The Study Tour-2023 Convener was Md. Anisur Rahman, Asst. Prof. and Coordinator. The program was organized by the senior and junior students who made the tour a successful one. Apart from the students the tour was also blessed with the presence and participation of some the male and female faculties of the department. According to the opinions of the tour participants, the duration of the study tour may be short but the memories and impact will remain everlasting in their mind for the days to come.
