I am honoured to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology since June 18, 2020. I, together with my fellow Members of the Board of Trustees, are aware of, and committed to our responsibilities and duties as BoT Members to do whatever is in the best interest of the University.

The Board is still in many ways adjusting to the challenges of directing and controlling the affairs of a higher education in the process of transitioning from an idea to a fully established university, many challenges lie before us. Still, I believe that we can be successful and achieve our goals of real transition, if we all work together in a transparent and collaborative manner in which there is mutual respect and on-going dialogue to make a new normal era.

I am honoured to lead the Shanto-Mariam Foundation Board of Trustees during this historic time, like pandemic and excited to see where we go next. With the support of all members of our Shanto Mariam family, there is nothing we can’t achieve as we strive to serve our students.

Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology is the first design University in this region, as an institution of higher education, University is committed to the discovery and transmission of applied knowledge to build our nation. That was the prime dream of our founder Chairman, valiant freedom fighter and philanthropist Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto. We would like to explore his ultimate dream . We are going to launch a beautiful new campus that will inspire, and motivate, thus those who want to be a part of our Shanto Mariam Family.

We have a group of enlightened faculty members. They are extremely devoted to doctrine and encourage active participation in an education that challenges critical thinking, provides career preparation, indoctrinates values, and inspires lifelong learning. Students may expand their horizons by taking advantage of both our physical and online classes. As you begin the next step of your life journey, you will find that our entire University is here to support your academic, social, and personal growth. We wish our students a fulfilling journey ahead in their academic endeavour.
