BA (HONS) in Islamic Studies
The objective of the BA (Hon’s) in Islamic Studies is to present Islam as a code of life based on the
revealed knowledge of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. So the curriculum is designed to enable students
to have a comprehensive view on development of human life according to the teaching and
practical guidance of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Accordingly a new discussion of Islamic
Economics and Administration has also been emphasized.
Course Description:
The Courses offered for BA (Hon’s) students are grouped into
- Core courses (Compulsory for all).
- General education courses (Compulsory for all).
- Concentration (Elective) courses with alternatives.
