Master in Bangla
The MA in Bangla programme focuses on Bangla language and Literature. The curriculum is designed to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding about Bangla literature from ancient to modern periods. Students will study Bangla linguistics and phonetics, Bengali life and culture, and literary works of major writers.
The MA programme is offered in 1 year or 2 years track. Students with background in Bangla in the Bachelor (Hons) level are placed in the 1 year track and students with background in other disciplines (including degree pass course) are placed in 2 years track.
