Seminar on ‘Role, Characteristics & Professional Ethics of a University Teacher’

IQAC of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology arranged a seminar on ‘Role, Characteristics & Professional Ethics of a University Teacher’ on October 11, 2018, at the Creative Gallery.

The Key speaker was  Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Head, QUA, HEQEP, UGC. He elaborately dwelt on the qualities of an ideal teacher who is entrusted with the responsibilities of producing good, useful and benevolent citizens for the society.

The seminar started with the welcome speech of Prof. Dr. Ysmin Ahmed, Director, IQAC. In her speech, she cordially welcomed all and dwelt on the activities of IQAC.

Registrar Ar. Hosne Ara Rahman dwelt at length on the administrative matters.

Prof. Dr. Md. Zaman Khan, Dean of the faculty of Management and General Studies, laid emphasis on maintaining morality.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Halim Shaikh, Dean of the Faculty of Design and Technology, stressed the need of making habits of practicing things which should be done by a teacher.

Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen, Quality Specialist also spoke on the occasion.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Quazi Md. Mafizur Rahman spoke on the occasion and declared the seminar open.

Dr. Ahsanul Kabir, respected Vice Chairman of Shanto-Mariam Foundation & member of the Board of Trustees of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology Trust, also spoke on the occasion.  He talked about the expectations of the authorities from the teachers.

Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Md. Anwarul Hoque, Additional Director, IQAC. He thanked all who contributed to make the program a success.
