Selection award ceremony on Sustainable design and innovation award” an initiative by BGMEA and Bangladesh apparel Exchange was held   on 18 th October, 2022 at BGMEA complex at uttara, Dhaka

The Award is an exclusive event under the umbrella of “Made in Bangladesh Week”, which is organised by Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), in partnership with Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) .

The Award is a unique platform where local talents and spectacular designers will be selected to represent their best product and process innovations in a series of presentations and participation.

The Award aims to find creative and innovative minds in the country through a rigorous selection process.

Fresh graduates and senior students from fashion design institutes of major public and private universities and industry professionals were participated in the open competition.

Among the participations, 13 students from the department of Apparel Manufacturing Management and Technology   were selected for 1^st round.  Students are Nurnoby Shohal, Afifa Sultana,Mohaiminul Islam,Shahanewaz sahirif,Saymun Sayeef Mikhail,Rokebul Islam,Shamim Osman,Tanvir Ahmed ,A.K.M Farhan Sadik,Humayara Anisa,Tanjuma Tabassum Tanha,Samia Alam.

Faculty members of the AMMT department congratulations all the students for their excellent performance. This is the combined efforts from the faculty members as well as the students.
