Observance of Shahid Day and International Mother Language Day

Shahid Day and International Mother LanguageDay-2019 was observed with due solemnity and fervor by Shanto-Mariam Foundation, Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology and Shanto-Mariam Academy of Creative Technology. A two day program was chalked out on this occasion f.o* the night of 20th February 21lg by screening  a

patriotic film at Building -1 of the university and placing floral wreath at the university Shahid Minar in commemoration of the martyrs of language movement by Mr.Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto, valiant freedom fighter and founder Chairman, Shanto-Mariam Foundation followed by Dr.Ahsanul Kabir,Vice Chairman, Prof.Dr.Quazi Md.Mafizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Shanto-Marial University of Creative Technology, Prof Shamsun Nahar, Treasurer, Ar.Hosne Ara Rahman, Registrar and teachers, officials and employees of the university, Sundarbon Courier Service, Muktijodaha Smirity Foundation and Daily Azker Prottasha. On 21’t February National Flag was hoisted half-mast in the morning in all
organizations of Shanto-Mxiam Foundation. A child art competition was organized by Shanto-Mariam Academy of

Creative Technology. The art works of the children were judged by renowned artist Prof. Shakur Shah and Prof. Mostafizul Hoq. Then a beautiful cultural program was presented by the students of Shanto-Mariam Academy of Creative Technology followed by prize distribution. Finally, Music and Dance Department and Cultural Forum of the
university presented an enchanting cultural program. Renowned language movement hero Dr.Sayeed Haider and Ms. Gulbadan Matin wife of Bhasha Matin were present in the program as special guest. They were given reception by the
founder Chairman of Shanto-Mariam Foundation Mr.Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto.
