Kids wear & accessories exhibition 2019

On 16th March, 2019 an academic display titled “Kids Wear and Fashion Accessories” was held by 28th batch students of Fashion Design & Technology department of the Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. The displayed products are the articles developed and prepared by the students studying the modules Fashion Illustration III – Accessories Design (FIL 3106) and Advanced Pattern Cutting and Design I – Children’s Wear (PCD 3110) in the 7th Semester.

The display inaugurated by Honourable Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Dr. Kazi M. Mafizur Rahman, started at 11.30 am at the building no-02, room no 2003 of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology campus. It will continue till 18th March, 2018.

The display is mainly aimed to inspire students and visitors to enter into the world of Fashion and Creativity. Excellent and creatively designed children’s every day wear, winter and summer wear and of course superbly designed party wears are the main attraction of display.

Besides the dresses, fashion accessories designed and prepared by using indigenous material mostly in recycle method, to boost up the utility of products like bags, shoes, jewelries and other items in a fashionable echo-friendly way are displayed in the display. Students of Fashion Design & Technology department have successfully exposed their theme of the display i.e. “let us live in echo-friendly fashionable Bangladesh”.

This type of academic display is a regular academic presentation of Fashion Design & Technology Department. Students under the supervision of expert teachers and highly skilled and technicians learn their theories with practical performance. Large number of visitor visit and appreciate the programme and these are definitely the achievement of students.
