Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament (AMMT)

An inter-departmental Cricket Tournament was organized by Apparel Manufacturing Management & Technology Department on May 26, 2022.The tournament took place at Uludhola Field, near the permanent campus. The tournament was a six-a-side competition with a maximum of five over per innings.

The event was inaugurated by Farjana Mita, Additional Head, of the said department at 9 am. All students and faculty members were presented at that time.

Arch. Hosne Ara Rahman, Dean (Faculty of Design & Technology), was the chief guest of the program. Along with her, Lily Islam, Director (Public Relation), Golam Rabbani Shamim, Director(Students Welfare), and Dr. Masud Al Noor, Joint Registrar(Admin), were also presented there as a guest. The entire program has been broadcasted live through Facebook and around 1500 people have watched it.

There was an arrangement of lunch for all the faculty members and students. Lunch was provided by the department.

Total 7 teams participated in the contest, 11^th Semester, Grp B (34^th Batch) beat 8^th Semester (36^th Batch) by 16 runs in the final to won the Title.

Jashim Uddin Tushar from the victorious team was judged the Man of the Final; he was also nominated Man of the Tournament for scoring 112 runs in just 3 matches.

Engr. Reashad Bin Kabir, Mr. Rajib Das, Mr. Suhal Ahmed, Mr. Noorul Muqaddim, Mr. Tarique Mahmood and Engr. Lablu Miah were the Match Officials.

The tournament ended with a Photo session with Champion Team & Runners-Up Team.
