A memorable event acheived A team from Department of Business Administration, SMUCT who become Champion in Business Idea Presentation outsmarting 14 other teams in the 10th International Business Olympiad 2025 at North South University in Dhaka.It was jointly organized by Business Genius Bangladesh and the Department of Marketing & International Business at North South University (NSU).
The team was congratulated by the Honourable Chairman, BoT, Artist Professor Mustafizul Haqu, Honourable Vice Chancelor, Professor Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Dean, Faculty of Business, Professor Mohammed Sohail Mustafa, Head, DBA, Professor Dr. Behzad Noor, others Deans of different Faculties & higher officials of SMUCT.

Team Mind Crusaders’ proposal, titled “SmartTaka,” was a personal finance and budgeting app tailored for Bangladeshi “Gen Z” and young professionals. The platform helps users track expenses, set budgets, and monitor savings through engaging visuals and gamified challenges, all in Bangla.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, NSU was present as the “Chief Guest” while Mr. AKM Zabed, COO, Dekko Foods Ltd., graced the event as the Guest of Honor. Dr. Khandker Md Nahin Mamun, Chair, Department of Marketing & International Business, NSU, and Mr. M. A. Nahiyan, Chairman, Business Genius Bangladesh, were present as the Special Guests.
