On Sunday, 27th July 2025, a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the Department of Business Administration (DBA), Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT), and Tally Solutions Bangladesh at the university’s Conference Room (L-1), Uttara Campus.
The signing ceremony was graced by key representatives from both institutions.
From SMUCT, Professor Dr. Shah-e-Alam, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Sohail Mostafa, PhD, Dean, Faculty of Business, Professor Dr. Behzad Noor, Head, Department of Business Administration & Other faculty members.
Dr. Par Moshiur Rahman, Registrar, SMUCT signed the MoU from SMUCT.
From Tally Solutions Bangladesh, Vikas R Panchal, General Manager (International Business), Iftekharul Ameen, Business Development Manager, Shamim Hassan, Marketing Manager & Technical and Training Team Members were remain present. Abdul Kuddus Ratan, Business Manager signed the MoU from Tally Solutions Bangladesh.
The event marked a significant step toward academic-industry collaboration, aimed at enhancing the practical and technological competencies of business students through the integration of Tally accounting software and ERP systems into the academic curriculum.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to:
•Equip students with hands-on skills in TallyPrime and other Tally applications.
•Provide certified training programs for BBA & MBA students specializing in Accounting Information System, Finance & Banking, Human Resource Management & Marketing.
•Bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world business practices.
•Create opportunities for internships, workshops, and industry exposure.
This strategic collaboration between Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology and Tally Solutions Bangladesh is a testament to the university’s proactive efforts in integrating industry practices with academic excellence, preparing students for a digitally empowered business landscape.
