Classes for the first semester of the BBA program (Fall 2026) under the Department of Business Administration at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) are set to begin on Wednesday, September 23.
As part of an initiative by the department, a welcome and orientation session was held to greet the new students and wish them success and a bright future in their academic journey.
Professor Dr. Behzad Noor, the Honorable Treasurer of the University, addressed the students during the event. He urged the new students to prioritize regular study, discipline, punctuality, and moral values right from the beginning of their university life.
Other distinguished faculty members of the department also spoke on the occasion, including Md. Mahbubul Ahsan, Head of the Department of Business Administration; ATM Shibbir Khan, Coordinator of the BBA Program; and Advisor Naoshova Ahmed.
The speakers extended a warm welcome to the new students joining the Department of Business Administration at SMUCT and provided necessary guidance for successfully completing the four-year BBA program within the stipulated timeframe.
At the same time, emphasis was placed on regular class attendance, active participation in academic activities, skill development, enhancement of communication abilities, and involvement in co-curricular activities; the speakers remarked that university life It is not limited merely to acquiring academic knowledge; rather, it is a crucial period for developing the knowledge, skills, leadership qualities, and positive mindset essential for a future career.
They urged the new students to move forward with dedication, perseverance, and a positive attitude.
