Milestone Credit Transfer Agreement Signed Between SAE University College, Australia, and Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology

A milestone Credit Transfer Arrangement (CTA) Agreement has been signed between SAE University College, Australia, and Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT), Bangladesh. The virtual signing ceremony took place earlier on 30 January 2025 from the respective meeting rooms of both institutions and was followed by the exchange of hard copy agreements.

The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Mathew Evans, General Manager of SAE University College, and Professor Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Vice-Chancellor of SMUCT. This groundbreaking collaboration will allow SMUCT students to transfer up to 70 academic credits toward SAE University College’s Bachelor of Computer Science program. The agreement sets the stage for academic excellence and deepens future institutional cooperation.

SAE University College, a globally recognized leader in creative media education, operates in 23 countries worldwide. SMUCT, a comprehensive private university based in Dhaka, is known for its career-focused and innovative academic programs, particularly in Fashion Design, Graphic Design and Multimedia, Interior Architecture, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT).
