Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology was founded by a valiant freedom-fighter, Late Md. Imamul Kabir Shanto in 2003. He held the position of the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Shanto- Mariam University of Creative Technology Trust till his death on 30 th May 2020.

We deeply mourn the passing away of our Honourable Founder Chairman of Board of Trustees. Mr. Shanto was a pioneer of job-oriented and creative education in Bangladesh. He dedicated his life to help create an enlightened and prosperous Bangladesh. May the Almighty Allah bless him in the hereafter and grant him jannat.
