I am feeling blessed to be a part of this glorious university. Not less then thirty years of my teaching background in Dhaka University, now I am here as the Dean of the faculty of Design and Technology. I am thankful to the newly appointed Chairman of the board of trustees, Prof. Mostafizul Haque, who has been a long-lasting friend since my student life in Dhaka and in Japan. As of the founder chairman of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, veteran freedom fighter late Imamul Kabir Shanto, Professor Mostafizul Haque is also a born leader. I am happy that SMUCT got an outstanding leader to continue it’s successful journey. As a Dean, I will initiate some worthy features to accelerate the academic development in the coming days. All the departments under my office will come to an accountability. At the end, I am thankful to the SMUCT board of trustees, VC office, Chairman’s Secretariat, Head of the Departments, teachers and staff. Hope to make our destination to the utmost level of satisfaction.
