The Bachelor of Music programme is studied over four years and offers three areas of specialism: Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet and Classical. Students will study a range of modules related to the subject area and will also include common core modules and modules on music history, notation and musical instruments. During the 3rd and 4th year, students concentrate on their chosen specialism. Students will have opportunities to cultivate their musical talent and gain the skills necessary for communicating the power and nuance of music.

All students will be required to produce a dissertation and give a live stage performance at the end of their honours final year.

The bachelor degree offers a pathway to musical career or to a postgraduate study.
