Department of Islamic Studies
The Department of Islamic Studies started as an independent department since the beginning of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology in 2003 and offers only a postgraduate program. Our mission is to provide students Islamic and modern knowledge for career success. Our faculty members are keen to help the students and offer opportunities to them to consult on diversified issues.
The academic program will enable students to learn knowledge of Islam as a complete code of life in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. They will also learn about Islamic history, comparative religion and Islamic law, and will develop the ability to present real teachings of Islam to the people.
Successful completion of the postgraduate program provides a groundwork for career advancement opportunities. Many of our graduates are employed in corporate, banking and public service.
