Students under this program can avail wide-ranging modules to study that are in a continuous process of development keeping with changes worldwide. A good number of dedicated and renowned faculty members of the department make the BA (Hons) in English program one of high quality so that students graduating with the degree can turn into valuable human resource. The program includes modules that range from the Anglo-Saxon and the medieval period to the 21st century. All the major authors are taught alongside traditional literary genres and popular culture that cut across Trans-Atlantic literatures, British literatures, media studies, post-colonial studies and cultural studies. The modules also draw on a broad range of methodologies and theoretical approaches.
