I welcome to all, this is Farjana Mita, HoD, Department of Apparel Manufacturing Management & Technology. The Department started its journey in 2003.The academic program in Apparel Manufacturing and Management is among the largest program in the country and the department is widely reputed to be the pioneering department which produces successful professionals for the Apparel Industry.  The Textile and Apparel Industry is a diverse, highly competitive, global Industry. RMG sector occupies the most portion of foreign currency earning sources in Bangladesh and the demand will never dent due to being the second basic human need. 

A career in any aspect of Apparel Industry is very challenging with a very responsible integrated role within the complex, exhilarating, global and risky nature of the Fashion, Textile and retail industries world-wide. The various managerial positions within the Apparel Industry requires creative direction, working with team spirit to develop appropriate, innovative, commercially viable clothing for tomorrow’s fast changing world markets.  This department offers a diverse and high-quality learning experience in this specific area.
