The curriculum offered in Apparel Manufacturing Management and Technology is designed to give the student a diverse and broad-based knowledge in the subject. Emphasis is placed on both the theoretical and practical aspects and one of the basic philosophies of the course that good practice requires good theory and vice versa.
One of the distinctive features of the programme is that all students are required to complete the foundation semester in Art & Design which enables the students to integrate creative thinking with the cultivated sense in fashion and apparel manufacturing and management. Students gain broad-based knowledge in patternmaking, apparel manufacturing technology, quality management, retailing and merchandising, and business studies.
