The undergraduate program in Graphic Design & Multimedia allows students to cultivate an informed design process with creative outcomes that provides a foundation for future career in real-world design opportunities. The program is designed to develop a lateral thinker with all the diverse and broad-based knowledge required.

Students gain a thorough understanding of principles of design, typography, illustration, layout design and photography for the print and broadcasting media and also examine the scope of web design, video, animation and achieve a holistic understanding of the “state of the art” communication systems using diverse media. Students will have the opportunity to engage in intense studio practice and apply problem solving strategies in design to develop their own personal methods that culminate in a portfolio. Interpersonal skills, technical and intellectual, innovative skills based on sound analytical research, confidence to work within a team and good communicative skills are what is demanded by employers and the course will also nurture and embrace all these aspects.

It is a single program but opens an entire horizon of career opportunities that include freelancing and entrepreneurship or job placement in a corporate entity.
