It also asserts to uphold the confidence level of the students so that they can be able to participate in any competitive exam like BCS and others. The department has implemented a program of assessment to measure the achievement of those objectives.
The department covers a broad range of potential specializations encompassing political theory, Bangladesh politics, comparative politics, constitutional law, good governance, good citizenship, women empowerment and international relations. The combination of substantive knowledge and practical skills disseminated by the courses in the department provides a stable background to help our students excel as leaders in a variety of fields; including in politics, government service and in the legal profession. We encourage our students to think broadly, critically, and internationally about the core features of democratic and global citizenship. We do this under a faculty named as Management and General Studies, and that includes highly qualified faculty members by building on a legacy of famously gifted professors.
