Welcome to the esteemed Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. As a pioneer in the field, our university has been providing exceptional education since 2003, offering unique opportunities for students to excel in the promising field of computer science at an affordable cost.
As we know, this is the era of 4IR (4th Industrial Revolution). The fundamental characteristic of 4IR is technological advancement. Since most automation and other technologies rely on computers, the importance of this field has become undeniable. The career opportunities in this field are vast. We are preparing our students for those opportunities. Specifically, we continuously update our curriculum to better prepare our students for the job sector.
CSE is a dynamic field. Knowledge is changing rapidly. To cope with this dynamic nature, the CSE department is also changing the techniques and tools of education.
Our faculty members, recruited for their expertise in specific regions of the field of CSE, bring a unique blend of academic and professional knowledge to the classroom. Their experience in the professional sector is a testament to our department’s commitment to connecting students to the job sector, assuring our industry relevance.
The future world will need skilled engineers. The department of CSE at SMUCT follows the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum and engages students in more practical work than theoretical work. This ensures that our students are gathering skills for the future world.
We are trying our best to make our students future leaders in the tech industry. We also encourage our students to spread their knowledge among all the other people in society so that we can flourish together.
